BLOGGING WORKSHOP Department of English of MES Mampad College organized a workshop on blogging.Miss Aswathi, Asst. Professor at Unity Women's College Manjeri was the resource person. The session was scheduled to begin at 9:30 am and concluded at 1 pm. Selected students  from the department  attended the workshop. Miss Aswathi gave a wonderful introduction to the topic. Later on, each student was assigned to create ones own blog and several tasks were carried out. Each of them actively participated in the session. The students were able to get a clear idea about the topic and it indeed was a great and resourceful experience…we enjoyed a lot... Participants of the workshop

A JOURNEY IN RAIN “ Rain  is liquid   water   in the form of   droplets   that have   condensed   from   atmospheric   water vapor   and then   precipitated —that is, become heavy enough to fall under   gravity ..” I too had the same plain definition of rain in my intellect .But it was a fascinating experience for me to  realise  its actual meaning. Touching experience… … It was an unforgettable day in my life…   When I walked   through a deep dark Forest . Actually I  was afraid  when I make each step in such a new path on a rainy day. But it makes me thehappiest girl in the world itself. The greenery covered my Eyes , the cold breeze touched my hair .There were a lot of wonderful creatures .I felt that they were talking to me, playing and singing with me. Now itself I was  able to hear sweet melodies of cuckoo.    It was a lovely touch on my heart . from where else could iget such an experience?  Can we  bring that with money? Heaven in arid land My father was in Rajasthan... He had a talk with villagers. He also shared about our state. Curiously they asked about our farming methods. You have to know that they are basically framers. My father explained the pathetic condition of our farms. Their next question was about our rivers. His reply bulged with the beauty of our 44 rivers. My college is my guide………………. DGMMES Mampad college is one of the most popular colleges in Malappuram district. It’s a beautiful college  surrounded by a lot of trees. Yes , this green effect attracted my mind . Similarly there are a lot of reasons to select this college for my graduation. This college has  many departments with varieties of courses. It has a better campus background. Here teachers are very supportive both in educational and in extra activities .NSS,NCC, civil service academy, sports and art activities are very popular among students. when I completed my higher secondary education I decided to travel though English.
